Fix microphone access

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

1. Tap the aA or page menu in the address bar.
2. Choose Website Settings.
3. Set Microphone to Allow.
4. Return to Loqena and tap “Retry and record”.

If the page is open inside WeChat, Instagram, Facebook or another app, open it in Safari first. You can also check Settings → Safari → Microphone. Using Chrome, Edge or Firefox instead? See the next section.

iPhone or iPad (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)

1. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn on Chrome (or the browser you are using).
2. Return to the browser, tap Record or “Retry and record”, and choose Allow when the browser asks.
3. If the browser is not listed in Settings, tap Record in it once so iOS registers the request, then check Settings again.

On iPhone, Chrome and other browsers appear in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone only after they have asked for microphone access at least once. The system switch and the browser’s site permission are two separate layers; both must be allowed.

Android (Chrome)

1. Tap the lock or tune icon next to the address.
2. Open Permissions → Microphone and choose Allow.
3. Return to Loqena and tap “Retry and record”.

You can also open Chrome Settings → Site settings → Microphone and allow loqena.com.

Desktop (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox)

1. Click the lock or site icon in the address bar.
2. Open Site settings → Microphone and choose Allow.
3. Reload this page, then tap “Retry and record”.

If loqena.com is in a blocked list, select it and change Microphone to Allow.

In-app browsers

1. Open the browser menu in the top corner.
2. Choose “Open in Safari”, “Open in Chrome” or the equivalent.
3. Allow the microphone in the system browser.

Operating-system permission

1. iPhone/iPad: Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → turn on Safari and the browser you use (Chrome, Edge, Firefox).
2. Android: Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions → Microphone → Allow.
3. macOS: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → turn on your browser.
4. Windows: Settings → Privacy & security → Microphone → allow apps to access the microphone.
